Little Compton Police: Hunting trap missing

A resident who called at 8:03 am to request help was transported to Newport Hospital.

At 9:22 am, a motor vehicle struck a deer on Peckham Road (no word on the fate of the deer or vehicle damage).

Friday, Jan. 22

A William Sisson Road resident reported a loose dog on her property at 7:27 am.

Saturday, Jan. 23

An officer went to the area of Simmons Mill Pond, Colebrook Road, after receiving a 3:34 pm call reporting that a hunting trap had been stolen from the Simmons Mill Pond area.

Sunday,  Jan. 24

At 9:43 am, a Sakonnet Trail resident requested police assistance with removing two individuals from the property.
