Little Compton Police: Domestic assault charge, mailboxes hit

Sunday, Feb. 7

Police went to a West Main Road residence at 12:56 pm for a 911 call, nobody on the line. The call was determined to be accidental - probably weather related.

At 1:02 pm, police had to force entry into a residence to assist a person who had fallen and was stuck in the basement.

Monday, Feb. 8

Alex G. Doucet, 31, of 256 Long Highway, Little Compton, was cited for driving with a suspended license, second offense. Police had been alerted by a 911 caller at 7:11 pm to a rollover accident in the area of Colebrook Road with passengers trapped inside. With help from Tiverton police and rescue, the driver and a passenger were extricated — one person was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

Wednesday, Feb.10

A caller reported two mailboxes knocked down at 11:43 am on Old Stone Church Road.

A 911 hang-up call proved to be accidental — the caller accidentally hit her phone’s SOS feature.

Thursday, Feb. 11

Damage to a mailbox was reported at 10:07 am on Theresa Lane.

Saturday, Feb. 13

Raymond W. Heath III, 30, of 2955 Main Road, Tiverton, cited for driving with a suspended license, third offense, at 4:30 pm.

Tuesday, Feb. 16

At 5:11 pm, a caller reported that her sister was involved in a disturbance at the beach and needs police assistance.

Wednesday, Feb. 17

Todd E. Durkee, 63, of 75 Tomkins Lane, Little Compton,was cited for driving with a suspended license, fourth offense, at 5:48 pm.

Thursday, Feb. 18

Eric W. Dupre, 37, of 79 Colebrook Road, Little Compton, was cited for driving with a revoked license, second offense, at 11:15 am.

Saturday, Feb. 20.

A Tiverton driver was cited for driving with an expired license at 2:08 pm.

Stephen M. Bogan, 25, of Swansea, Mass., was arrested on two charges of domestic simple assault, and one point of domestic disorderly conduct at 11:03 pm.

Wednesday, Feb. 24

After a 2:21 pm traffic stop, a Little Compton driver was cited for driving with a suspended license, first offense.

A Wrentham, Mass., driver was cited for driving with an expired license, first offense, at 8:21 pm.

Thursday, Feb, 25

Police and rescue were called to the Commons in front of Wilbur School at 11:56 am for a two-vehicle  accident. No injuries were reported; one car left under its own power, the other had to be towed.

Friday, Dec. 26

Richard K. Lumbert, 57, of Fall River, was cited for driving with a revoked license, third offense, at 2:51 pm.

A Fall River motorist was cited for driving without a license at 3:43 pm.

Saturday, Feb. 27

Andrew J. Stankioewicz, 38, of 245 Long Highway, Little ?Compton, was arrested on charges of domestic assault on a person over age 60 causing bodily injury, and domestic disorderly conduct. Police had been called to that location at 8:05 am for a reported domestic disturbance.
