What a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Recalled town councilor Coulter questions why the Tiverton legal budget is so high and poses queries about “when the town makes mistakes.” Well that is something he should be all too familiar with.
When he was in charge on the Town Council back in 2010, the Town Council and School Committee spent thousands and thousands of dollars on legal fees due to the council, with TTA member’s Coulter and Nelson leading the way, inappropriately withholding school funds despite the RI Department of Education’s ruling that towns are required to fully fund the voter approved school spending plan, even if state aid is reduced.
Did his PAC buddies pay for the thousands of lost taxpayer dollars spent on lawyers then? Nope. They got nothing but the bill.
Give me a break Mr. Coulter with your politically motivated concern now … oh and pot meet kettle.
