Letter: Tiverton Garden Club beautifies our town year-round

To the editor:

On behalf of the Tiverton Historical Society, I would like to thank the Tiverton Garden Club for the lovely handmade Christmas wreath they placed on the front door of our headquarters at Chace-Cory House for the holidays, as they have done in prior years.

The members of this club take the time to make all the wreaths around town that are displayed on the Town Hall and other buildings every year, as well as the triangle at the southbound exit from Route 24 onto Main Road they also tend during the growing season.

I hope they will see this letter in the papers, as I don't know who to contact directly to thank; the Tiverton Garden Club I googled was in Devon, England, and I know they didn't "cross the pond" to decorate their sister city.

So, members of the Rhode Island Tiverton Garden Club, thank you for beautifying our town!
