I read the piece regarding Reps Edwards’ and Canario’s opposition to access to the water at the Nanaquaket Bridge. I agree 100 percent.
Ever since those trees went up blocking access, I smelled a rat. I believe somebody “washed” someone else’s hand. I say leave the bridge fishing folks alone. They’re not bothering anyone.
I’m about ready to drive my Jeep right over those shrubs. They cannot restrict access there. Some snob doesn’t like the recreational fisherman around — too bad!
Take down the bushes and let them park where they used to. Mike Roderick
