Letter: Know your zoning board, as Seasons vote approaches

Posted

On Wednesday, May 7, the Tiverton Zoning Board will vote on whether to allow a Seasons gas station, store and drive-up restaurant to be built at the corner of Main and Souza roads. Prior letters here noted that citizen comments on the proposal have been unanimously negative.

In a democracy it is fitting and proper for citizens to know who are the officials deciding matters that affect those citizens. Accordingly I list the five members of that board: George S. Alzaibak, Jennifer Hilton Cavanagh, David Collins, Lise Gescheidt, John R. Jackson, Edwin K Schober, Jr. (alternate). Tiverton residents ought to feel free to express respectfully their feelings to those members.
