To the editor:
I am writing to urge you to add a discussion of the transition of the town's fleet of vehicles from gas to hybrid and eventually electric vehicles to the town's agenda.
I'm sure you agree that we need to do all we can to protect the environment and this is one way in which we can make a difference.
I recommend that we make the transition of our (gas guzzling and noise polluting) mowers to be the first step in this process, followed by our police cars, and public works vehicles. I look forward to your repsonse.
