David A. Ferreira, 55, Tiverton

David A. Ferreira, 55, of Tiverton, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020, at home. He was the husband of the late Diane (Moniz) Ferreira. 

Mr. Ferreira was born in Fall River, son of Beatrice (Melo) Ferreira of Tiverton and the late John Ferreira, and had been a longtime resident of Tiverton. He had worked as commercial fisherman in Rhode Island.

Survivors, along with his mother, include his son, Dylan M. Ferreira of Tiverton; his two daughters, Heather Ferreira of Providence and Haley Ferreira of Tiverton; two brothers, John Ferreira and Larry Ferreira, both of Tiverton; two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Oliver; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Beatrice Barreto.

Private arrangements are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Potter Funeral Home on behalf of the Ferreira family to help defray costs of the funeral.
