Wickford Art Exhibit: Juried-Artist-Member Invitational

Wickford Art Association (WAA) hosts our annual Invitational Exhibit for ten of our Juried Artist Members this May at its North Kingstown beach-front gallery, just outside historic Wickford Village. Launching on May 7, this exhibit will feature work by: Andrea BEALL - Acrylic Painter, Denise BOISVERT - Pastel Artist, Gina CAMPBELL - Photographer, Laura White CARPENTER - Mixed Media Artist, Victoria COREY - Watercolorist, Nancy CURRY - Pastel Artist, Betsey MacDONALD - Oil Painter, Avis O’NEILL - Photographer, Felicia TOUHEY - Printmaker, and Patricia VARON - Watercolorist.

The annual (Juried-Artist-Member) JAM Invitational will occur in-gallery and through an online virtual gallery May 7 through 23, 2021. More information is available at https://wickfordart.org/exhibits-2021/jam-all-media-invitational/.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
