Westport-based Lafrance hospitality has taken over ownership and management of the Hilton Garden Inn in Fort Myers, Florida. The Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers becomes the 15th hotel currently under the Lafrance Hospitality umbrella with hotel properties spread throughout New England and Florida. Lafrance Hospitality plans to renovate the property in 2020 with a complete refresh of the 126 guest rooms, common areas, and the 3,500 sq. ft. of meeting space.
“We are thrilled to be acquiring this property in such a great location for both corporate and leisure travelers”, said Tim Burkhardt, Vice President of Lodging and Development for Lafrance Hospitality. “The hotel is a great addition to our growing portfolio of hotels in both New England and Florida.”
