  • Porsche recalls 24,000 model year 2017-2021 Panamera models due to a short-circuiting part that could pose a fire risk
  • Toyota recalls 16,000 model year 2021 RAV4 Prime Plug-In Hybrids due to a crash risk from the vehicle stalling
  • VinFast recalls nearly 2,800 units domestically to check and replace a bolt
  • VW recalls nearly 21,000 model year 2021 vehicles due to the possibility it may lose drive power

  • nanoMaterials Discovery Corporation issues voluntary nationwide recall of its alcohol antiseptic spray solution due to high amounts of methanol present

  • 1001 Fondues recalls cheese fondues due to Listeria found during inspection
  • Bindle Bottle issues voluntary recall on insulated food and drink bottles due to possible lead exposure
  • Chukar Cherry Company is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of Cherry Bombs due to the product possibility containing hazelnuts
  • Inside Our Nutritious Goods recalls Almond milk linked to botulism case due to refrigeration storage instructions missing on label
  • Louis Latour Pinot Noir recalled due to glass in product

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
