Warren Town Hall goes appointment-only

Restrictions in place as Rhode Island enters Covid 'pause'

During the statewide 'pause' to stem the spread of Covid-19, Warren Town Hall will begin operating on an appointment-only basis starting Monday, Nov. 30.

From Monday through Sunday, Dec. 13, those with town business should visit the Town of Warren website. To drop off correspondence, use the drop box located in the back stairwell of Town Hall at 514 Main St. To make a tax payment, use the drop box located in the lobby of Government Center at 1 Joyce St.

Town hall staff are available by phone and e-mail Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to answer questions and provide assistance.  Call 401-245-7340.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once.
