Warren takes center stage Sunday night on NOS4A2

New AMC series filmed largely in Warren premieres Sunday evening

Posted

Mark your calendars for this Sunday, June 2. That’s when Warren will take center stage as the AMC channel airs its first episode of NOS4A2, a new TV series based on the book of the same name by Joe Hill, son of horror legend Stephen King.

TV crews filming the series were a regular presence in Warren late last year. They took over Rod’s Grille and temporarily re-named it Pedro Pascual’s Pizza Palace, a fair bit of shooting was done at the Market Street Pub, Warren Town Hall and George Hail Library, and set designers even built a replica of an old covered bridge on Washington Street. Other filming was done in other places across the state, including a private residence in Barrington.

The series stars Zachary Quinto, who is known by many as Spock from the latest movies in the Star Trek franchise. The series airs at 10 p.m. On Full Channel TV in Warren, that’s channel 52.
