Warren summer concert series begin Sunday at Burr's Hill bandshell

The Town of Warren opens a weekly summer concert series this Sunday night, July 10, at the bandshell in Burr's Hill Park. Shows are weekly from now through Sept. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Visitors are welcome to bring blankets or chairs and settle on the lawn before the bandshell at the south end of Water Street. This week's performer is Merchants of Cool, a Foreigner tribute band that recently performed during the Bristol Fourth of July concert series. Remaining shows this summer are:

  • JULY 17 - Wicked Acoustic (accoustic rock)

  • JULY 24 - Crushed Velvet (tribute to the golden age of 70's rock)

  • JULY 31 - Back in the Day (80's tribute)

  • AUGUST 7 - Jesse Liam (pop)

  • AUGUST 14 - Atwater-Donnelly Trio (traditional American folk)

  • AUGUST 21 - G-Squared (party duo)

  • AUGUST 28 - The Patterson-Smith Trio (folk, jazz, blues)

  • SEPTEMBER 4 - Neal & the Vipers
