A Market Street woman reported receiving harassing phone calls from her son’s father.
Police arrested a Warren man on a domestic disturbance warrant out of Barrington. Charged was Peter N. Jackson, 46, of 347B Market St.
Tuesday, March 8
A car struck a mailbox on Touisset Road.
A Pine Lane resident reported receiving harassing texts.
A Davis Street resident complained about a stolen jacket, but then realized it had only been misplaced.
Someone rummaged through a car parked on Mill Street overnight, making off with a Dunkin Donuts card.
A worker at a Metacom Avenue store reported being harassed and threatened by a customer.
Wednesday, March 9
A Calder Drive resident reported an unsettling occurrence: The caller was reviewing videotape surveillance of the property and noticed that at about 4 a.m. on a recent date, a flashlight appeared in a window, and a man wearing a head lamp looking through the window. The caller asked for additional police patrols in the area.
Someone complained about an off-road vehicle driving on Wood Street.
Marley Flint, 30, of 17 Company St., second floor, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
A Kickemuit Village resident reported an IRS scam.
A threatening text message call came in from Market Street.
Thursday, March 10
Someone repaired an injured goose in a Market Street parking lot.
A man who went to his girlfriend’s to retrieve items from the home called police after getting into an argument with her.
A Third Street resident reported items stolen from the home.
A caller complained about the volume of music coming from cars on Market Street.
Friday, March 11
Matthew J. Aguiar, 31, of 68 Franklin St., Apt. 2, was charged with domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct, after police got a call about a domestic disturbance on Franklin Street.
A Water Street man told police that a neighbor threatened to kill him.
Sunday, March 13
A woman lout walking her dog on Water Street said the dog was attacked by another dog. The animal control officer went out to find it and tracked it to Washington Street.
Three roosters were spotted on Buffalo (Street, that is).
A man visiting his grandmother on Water Street complained about a woman using vulgar language.
A Franklin Street resident discovered that accounts (type unknown) had been opened in her name, without her knowledge.
A Third Street man reported receiving harassing text messages from his soon-to-be ex-wife.
