A Market Street woman reported being harassed by her ex-husband.

A Kinnicutt Avenue woman told police that someone rummaged through her car’s glove box overnight.
A clerk at a Market Street store told police a father was attempting to get his son to leave the store, but the son was not listening. Police arrived, and the son listened.
A Croade Street woman, upset that her husband was taking the dog outside during a thunder storm, called police.
Mary L. Gomes, 59, of Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor or drugs, first offense, BAC .15 or greater, after police pulled her over at Main Street and Almy Avenue at 11:17 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 20
A Market Street business owner reported receiving a fraudulent check.
Police spoke with the owner of a car parked on Water Street, its windows rolled up with a dog inside, after a caller complained.
Wednesday, Aug. 21
Police turned several juveniles over to their parents after an officer spotted them inside a damaged school bus on Child Street at 2:21 a.m.
A Child Street caller reported finding a hole in his window, likely from a BB gun.
A School Street woman complained that a neighbor was poisoning her plants but she decided against filing a report.
A Sowamsett Avenue man reported the theft of a bike from his yard.
A Fern Drive man called police after receiving fraudulent checks.
A Croade Street woman told police a man drove over her lawn and flower beds.
Thursday, Aug. 22
Audrey K. Mello, 42, of Bristol, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct, after police pulled over a suspicious car on Vernon Street, near Metacom, at 4:16 a.m.
A Barden Lane woman called police after her cat bit her.
Friday, Aug. 23
Kelly Mowery, 23, of 15 Cutler St., Apt. 10, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after police pulled her over on Metacom Avenue at 12:59 a.m.
Officers issued a ticket to a car parked in a no parking area on Main Street after receiving a complaint.
A Market Street woman reported her son’s bike stolen.
Saturday, Aug. 24
Paulo G. Pereira, 47, of 23 Company St., was charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, second offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after police pulled him over on Metacom Avenue at 1:21 a.m.
A Croade Street woman reported that her house had been egged.
An argument was reported on Ridgeway Drive just after 10 a.m.
A King Street woman reported loud music. Police checked it out with a decibel meter and it was within legal limits; also, the homeowner had a permit, police said.
A Federal Street caller reported loud music. The person playing it was advised to turn it down.
Jason C. Daluz, 33, of 6 Bee Jay Court, was charged with two violations of a no contact order, third or subsequent offense, after police acted on an arrest warrant. During the arrest, Ashley L. Vieira, 25, of 385 Metacom Ave., Apt. 2E, was charged with disorderly conduct.
A Main Street man complained to police that his two children are being abused by his ex-wife’s boyfriend.
A large party was reported on Federal Street.
Sunday, Aug. 25
An Arlington Avenue man called police at 3:29 a.m. to report that his neighbors were arguing.
A man asked for a police escort to retrieve some of his belongings from a Market Street home.
