A Federal Street resident reported the theft of items from a car.

A similar call came in from Child Street a few minutes later.

Harbormaster Ed Cabral went by police headquarters to drop off a wallet that had been found in the Warren River. The owner, a Barrington resident, was contacted by police in that town and came down to pick it up about 15 minutes later.

Police were called to Brown Street to help with the dispersal of a man unwanted at that address.

A Main Street woman reported being harassed by a family member.

Police got a tip that a car with lights and sirens was driving around the Homestead Avenue neighborhood. Police caught up with the car and noted it that it was a retired police vehicle; the owner said he was removing the police modifications.

Fireworks complaints came in from Sisson, Davis and Main streets.

A Croade Street woman complained that someone was trying to take her car. It turned out to be a repo company.

A Market Street woman reported being harassed.

Tuesday, July 28

Dawn M. Landry, 51, of Fall River, was arrested on two counts of possession of a scheduled controlled substance, as well as on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant, after police pulled her over on Child Street at 12:12 a.m.

A Market Street man complained that several cars parked in his driveway had been rummaged through.

Someone slashed the tires on a car parked on Benefit Street.

A car struck a motorcycle parked on Cole Street.

A Market Street man spoke to officers about his son coming onto his property without permission.

An Ellis Street man reported his tires slashed.

A Company Street woman flagged down an officer to report that her young daughter ran away following a disagreement. The officer found her hiding in the backyard.

Wednesday, July 29

Tammy Sullivan, 47, of 340 Main St., Apt. 2, was arrested on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court.

Matthew P. Klassner, 25, of Pawtucket, was charged with the manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to to deliver, a Schedule V controlled substance, first offense, after police pulled him over at Main and Union streets just before 9:30 a.m.

A Water Street property owner asked that police dispersed several people who were fishing.

Police dispersed an unwanted man outside a Metacom Avenue home.

Marcus Bennett, 23, of Pawtucket, was charged with driving on a suspended, revoked or cancelled license, third or subsequent offense.

A man asked for a police escort while gathering belongings from a Liberty Street home.

A woman told police she being followed as she walked down Metacom Avenue. An officer reported that before he arrived, the woman told her the man drove by and yelled obscenities at her before driving off.

Thursday, July 30

Lauren M. Guay, 19, of 10 Munro Ave., was arrested on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court, following a disturbance on Asselin Street called in at 1:23 a.m.

A Highview Avenue woman complained to police that a man trimming trees along his property had left property in her yard. Police spoke to the man, who said he would move his ladder.

Police got a call about a panhandler at Main and Miller streets, but he was gone on arrival.

Police dispersed several juveniles from the docks on Shipyard Lane.

Police dispersed a large group of people from the Warren Town Beach after getting a complaint about their loud music.

A caller from Child Street told police that there was a man “hitting mailboxes and acting strange.” Police looked for but could not locate him.

Friday, July 31

A Metacom Avenue woman told police that her boyfriend locked her out of her apartment. 

A Sowamsett Avenue man called police upset that his TV was missing. It turns out it was taken by his mother, who police said would return it at a later date.

A Beach Street man called to report being assaulted at his home. He wanted the man removed and a no trespass order put in place. 

A caller from Main Street reporting that her son was assaulted by his father’s girlfriend.

Armed with a search warrant, police raided the 126 Water St. home of Adelaide S. DaSilva, 54, seizing 3.64 grams of crack cocaine and assorted drug paraphernalia. He was charged with delivering or possessing with intent to distribute a Schedule V controlled substance, and keeping or maintaining a common nuisance, first offense.

A caller from Metacom Avenue reported that her child had been assaulted by another.

Angelo M. Costa, 59, of 18 Wood St., Apt. 3, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offfense, after he was pulled over on Handy Street.

Police were called to investigate a fight on Metacom Avenue, but they didn’t find one. They said there was a small party of about six people playing games in a yard.

A caller reported being harassed over social media. He was advised to block the offending party.

Saturday, August 1

A caller told police that two juveniles were making vulgar gestures to cars passing on Child Street, near Arlington.

A caller from Touisset told police about a large party of people possibly violating the governor’s order on social gatherings. Police checked: Nobody was home.

A caller reported that juveniles threw bricks through windows at the Cutler Mill. The man called back soon after to report that juveniles were back, now near Tom’s Market. Police took one in for a statement and released him to the custody of his mother.

A separate caller reported that juveniles threw rocks at his car while it was parked in Tom’s Market’s parking lot.

A caller from Main Street reported people arguing. It turned out to be a mother disciplining her child.

Sunday, August 2

A man called police to check on the well-being of his girlfriend, who was with friends on Lee Drive. Police checked and said she was OK: slightly intoxicated but with other people.

Police called a tow truck after a Baker Street man complained that a black car was blocking his driveway.

Warren Harbor Patrol reported that several windsurfers might have been in distress just off the Blount clam shack. Marine 3 crews reported the windsurfers were back on their boards and were being assisted.

A Campbell Street man complained about the possible theft of items from his parked car overnight.

A fireworks complaint came in from Long Lane just before 11 p.m.

Monday, August 3

Zachary Pacheco, 18, of Bristol, was charged with possession of more than one ounce of marijuana after police pulled him over on Arlington Avenue at 12:44 a.m. Police said they seized 1.25 ounces of marijuana in the car, as well as assorted drug paraphenlia.

Police spoke to a man reported sleeping behind a Main Street building, and reminded him of an earlier no trespass order.
