Police returned a lost purse to its owner.

A Kickemuit Middle School student reported that another student wanted two fight him and egg his house.

An Asselin Street man asked for information on how to obtain a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend, who he said was harassing him.

A caller told police that a woman on Wood Street was yelling at children waiting for the school bus. Police told her to call back if it happens again.

A caller complained about a man acting strangely as he walked up Kinnicutt Avenue. Police found no problem; the man was just headed to Sip N Dip.

Police were called to Cutler Street for a fight between brothers. There was a report that a knife might be involved, but police didn’t find one.

A Martin Street woman called police after her niece, 17, ran away. She returned about 20 minutes later.

A man struck a deer while driving on Long Lane, though it bolted after the collision and could not be located.

Tuesday, Feb. 4

A Market Street woman came in to headquarters to talk to police about a man she’d recently gone out on a date with. She didn’t want to file charges; there was no further information on the nature of the incident.

An officer reported that a resident removed multiple traffic cones from the Main and Child Street intersection.

A caller told police that he could hear a woman yelling and a dog barking, and was afraid something was wrong. There was: The dog had been sprayed by a skunk.

Wednesday, Feb. 5

Jason Jonathan Ledoux, 39, of Fall River, was arrested by Tiverton police on a warrant for violating a no contact order.

Niles W. Webster, 36, of Bristol, was charged with reckless driving, eluding an officer in a high speed pursuit, resisting arrest and driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, after police spotted a car matching the description of one involved in a robbery in Bristol. Police noted the car was headed toward Bristol on Main Street before Mr. Webster pulled over by Bristol police on Deer Run Road in that town. He fled on foot and was eventually apprehended on Tupelo Street.

A caller from Locust Terrace complained that two youngsters were sitting on his dock.

Thursday, Feb. 6

A Lyndon Street reported receiving harassing phone calls from a stranger.

Police issued a warning to a driver allegedly involved in a road rage/aggressive driving incident on Market Street.

A caller told police she saw a man on Water Street punch his car before getting into it and driving off.

Friday, Feb. 7

Noelle C. Dulude, 30, of Fairhaven, Ma., was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after police pulled her over on Child Street at 1:29 a.m.

Police said a 13-year-old Kickemuit Middle School became unruly toward a teacher when the teacher refused to let her check her phone. Police said the case was handled internally.

Veronica A. Fortes, 26, of 291 Main St., was arrested on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant after police were called to disperse a woman banging on the door of a Main Street building at 6:13 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 8

Police got a call about two men who might be arguing on Water Street. Turns out one of them was just intoxicated, and there was no problem. His friend escorted him home.

Jordyn T. Dailey Washburn, 21, of Providence, was charged with possession of more than one ounce of marijuana, after a car stop on Brown Street at 1:51 a.m.

A caller from Ann Court complained about a suspicious vehicle. He said the car stopped and the driver, a woman in an Amazon jacket, knocked on his door before going back to the car and driving away. He told police he couldn’t find a package, but later discovered one in the bushes.

Police dispersed a man who had been kicked out of a Metacom Avenue establishment by bouncers.

Sheree A. Cathcart, 39, of Bristol, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, third or subsequent offense, after a car stop on Market Street at 9:23 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 9

A Canario Drive resident complained that someone siphoned gas from his car.

Items were reported stolen from a home on Wheaton Street.

Police responded to Main Street for the possible theft of a boiler.
