Whatever the season, the goats of Simmons Farm welcome visitors to join them for a stroll through their bucolic pastures. Enjoy the company of your Caprine friend as they escort you the scenic farm. The goats will meander along, stopping often to snack and nibble on whatever is still sweet and green all around them. It is a fun way to get outside and enjoy the company of others, human and goat.

The hikes last about an hour and a half and are led by Farmer Karla or her daughter, Farmer Aidan, and their crew of adventurous, fun loving goats. Each participant will get their own goat to walk on a leash. There will be stops along the way to let the goats nibble. Throughout the hike guests will have the full attention of the farmer and can ask all the burning questions they have ever wanted to know about Simmons Farm, farming in New England, the life of a farmer, or something else.

See gorgeous views of Narragansett Bay from the vista at the top of the farm, pass a babbling brook and meander through open pastures. Visit the pigs, peek in on a group of belted Galloway cows, affectionately known as the Oreo cookie cows, and see a funny flock of barnyard bird friends, the ducks and chickens. Visitors should wear close toed shoes for walking through fields and pastures.
