Viola (Cunard) Palumbo, 85, of Violet Court passed away on August 9, 2018 at Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of Angelo C. Palumbo.
Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Pacheco) Cunard. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jane Palumbo, Richard Palumbo, Alan Palumbo and his wife Barbara, and grandchildren, Adam Palumbo, Richard Palumbo, Michael Palumbo, Jeffrey Palumbo, Samantha Palumbo and Sean Palumbo. She was the sister of Patricia Barone, Nancy Cunard and the late Mary Medeiros, Manuel Cunard, Henry “Tootsie” Cunard and Delores Oliver.
Mrs. Palumbo was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality.
Her funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, 9:30 a.m. from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., Bristol, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground.
Calling hours are Friday, Aug. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m.
