Touch-a-Truck at Glen Park on Saturday

Portsmouth Free Public Library’s annual Touch-a-Truck event will have all kinds of vehicles, such as a school bus, police car, ,race car, fire truck and more. For those who don’t like noise, there will be a quiet hour from noon to 1 p.m. when no horns or sirens will sound. There will be games and crafts for children including a karate demonstration.

WHAT: Touch-a-Truck

WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHERE: Glen Park, Glen Road, Portsmouth

COST: $5 per person or $20 per family; cash only
