Gibson Steven Leon Segura, 31, of Tamarac, Florida, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and domestic violation of a no-contact order at 10:21 am on Seapower Avenue.

Police went to Canonicus Street at 1:17 pm after a caller said that a neighbor was blocking a waterway between homes and writing on a fence.

A Hayden Avenue resident called at 3:01 pm to report suspicious activity behind and on her property at night — believes someone is living in the woods. No suspicious activity was found.

A Kaufman Road resident called at 11:24 pm to report a tire slashed — a man and woman were seen leaving in a maroon vehicle.

Tuesday, Nov. 10

Barking dogs were reported on Canonicus Street at 6:49 am.

An 8:44 am caller said that a tree company is trying to do work on Lawrence Court but that a neighbor is refusing to move from under the tree. “Peace restored,” an officer reported.

Alexander Robert Pichette, 32, of 249 Tickle Road, Westport, was arrested on a charge of failure to stop for an accident involving damage to a vehicle at 10:45 am at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Fish Road.

Police and rescue were called to Evans Avenue at 11:22 am to assist an injured construction worker from Boulder, Colorado. The worker was taken to the hospital and OSHA was notified.

Police went to the area of Seapowet Avenue at 6:58 pm for reports of a person screaming for help. One person was transported to St. Anne’s Hospital.

Police were called to Bourne Mill Apartments at 7:16 pm after a caller said that a man took her car keys and stole her car.

Wednesday, Nov. 11

At midnight, a Bourne Mill Apartments 911 caller reported that someone may be breaking into her apartment.

A Canonicus Street caller complained of a barking dog at 6:37 am.

Wires down were reported on Mill Street at 9:23 am. National Grid was advised.

A Bourne Mill caller reported the theft of a package.

A loose dog was captured on Stafford Road at 12:05 pm and taken to West Place Animal Sanctuary.

Vandalism to a car was reported on Beardsworth Road at 3:49 pm.

Alixandra Almeida, 21, of Somerset, Mass., was arrested on a charge of simple assault at 5:07 pm at an Arbor Terrace address.

Jaime L. Carleton, 38, of 3 Main Road, Tiverton, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence in the vicinity of 5 Main Road at 6:23 pm.

At 7:43 pm, an East Road caller reported that her roommate was threatening to cut the cable lines.

Joseph H. Fitzgerald, 49, of 33 Bluff Ave., Tiverton, was arrested on charges of domestic simple assault, second offense, and domestic disorderly conduct at 8:03 pm at that address.

Thursday, Nov. 12

Police and firefighters were called to Tiverton Casino at 3:20 am for a fire alarm. An alarm was sounding but no fire could be found.

Stephen R. Marzilli, 42, of 166 Briarwood Ave., Tiverton, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence at 6:02 pm in the vicinity of the Trout Pond on Fish Road.

Sherri Ann Feldman, 44, of 462 Lake Road, Tiverton, was arrested on charges of obstructing a police officer, simple assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct at 5:42 pm in the vicinity of the Trout Pond on Fish Road.

A Tiverton fire engine, tanker truck and two cars were called to 75 Tompkins Lane, Little Compton, to assist at a house fire at 3:08 pm. See related story.

Police were called to Hambly Road regarding a loose dog at 3:38 pm. The dog was returned to its owner.

Friday, Nov. 13

A Canonicus Street resident requested that her neighbors be served with a no-trespass order.

Police were called to Bourne Mill Apartments at 5:19 pm to deal with an ongoing neighbor harassment issue.

Police and firefighters went to 30 Driftwood Road at 7:21 pm in response to a 911 call about a fire alarm sounding. Firefighters arrived to the smell of electrical smoke and popping noises and said all residents had evacuated the building. No fire was found but power was shut down.

Saturday, Nov. 14

Loud bangs were reported in the area of Grinnell Avenue at 5 am. Officers checked but heard nothing further.

A caller reported that someone had filed for Social Security in his name.

Tree cutting work caused a tree to fall across utility wires on Hancock Street at 12:54 pm. National Grid and a tree company were called.

One vehicle rear-ended another on Main Road near Helger’s Ice Cream at 1:48 pm. There were no injuries.

Police went to Brayton Road at 2:12 pm for dirt bike/ATV complaints.

Police were called to Winterberry Drive at 5:51 pm for a report that a motorcyclist slid across the road and into a front yard. The caller reported that the motorcyclist, who was wearing a skull face mask, left on foot with the bike.

Terri A. Cardona, 57, of 564 East Road, Tiverton, was arrested on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct at 6:45 pm at that address. Police had gone there after receiving a report that one person threatened to shoot another in the face with a BB gun.

Tiverton Liquors reported at 6:17 pm that a customer was making threats and refusing to leave after being asked to put a mask on. The customer was served with a no-trespass order.

Police went to Tiverton Casino at 7:38 pm after someone vandalized a machine there.

Police went back to Tiverton Casino at 7:53 pm for “parties being unruly out front.”
