Monday, Sept. 14
A Canonicus Street caller complained of large commercial trucks flying up the street at 12:01 pm.
At 1:23 pm, a Kearns Avenue caller reported vandalism to license plates.
Speeders in the area were reported on Canonicus Street at 1:33 pm.
At 2:41 pm, an officer was flagged down regarding a red sedan with loud exhaust being driven on Hilton Street at varied hours day and night.
Rescue was called by 911 to Dollar General at 2:50 pm for a man who had suffered a seizure. He was taken to the hospital.
A Cypress Avenue resident reported unemployment fraud at 3:01 pm.
A Fall River moped operator was warned about his driving on State Avenue at 6:47 pm.
A white Porsche being driven at a high rate of speed was reported on Central Avenue at 7:49 pm. The car was not located.
Police were called to the Longplex Family and Sports Center on Industrial Way at 7:35 pm for a report of dirt bikes and four-wheelers in the area.
At 9:31 pm, a caller complained of loud music on Brayton Road.
Tuesday, Sept. 15
Police went to Hooper Street at 1:34 pin to assist the Sheriff’s Department with serving a restraining order.
A 3:11 pm 911 call for fire alarm sounding and smoke showing on Robin Drive proved to be a matter of burned toast.
At 3:55 pm, police assisted with at the Tiverton Casino with a permanent ejection.
Police were called to at 4:48 pm regarding a vehicle that had been keyed at the Town Farm.
A caller reported fireworks in the area of Hambly Road at 8:14 pm.
Shawn D. Machado, 25, o 641 Stafford Road, Tiverton, was arrested on a reckless driving charge at 10:15 pm on Bulgarmarsh Road. Callers had reported a motorcycle swerving in and out of lanes at a high rate of speed.
An officer reported no issues after police were called to Dollar General on Stafford Road at 8:44 pm for people not wearing masks.
Wednesday, Sept. 16
Police were called to Tiverton Casino at 1:34 am to assist with issuing a no-trespass order.
Angel T. Reyes, 42, of Fairhaven, was arrested on two charges of narcotics possession at 2:08 am at the Tiverton Casino.
After receiving a 911 call, police responded to Holy Trinity Church, 1956 Main Road, at 3:05 am for a report of a car full of juveniles being disruptive, listening to loud music and urinating in the parking lot. Police charged a 19-year-old Fall River man with driving without a license and towed his car. After police tried without success to reach the parents of two of the juveniles, they were taken to the station.
At 6:54 am, a caller complained about a Merritt Avenue resident said to be feeding wild pigeons. DEM was contacted.
Items stolen from a car overnight were reported at 8:23 am on Hobson Avenue.
Police were called to Laura Street at 1:32 pm for a report that a woman was bitten on the wrist by her boyfriend’s dog.
At 4:49 pm, a South Lane Road caller reported finding a mouse trap placed inside her mailbox.
Loose dogs on the fields at Town Farm were reported at 6:26 pm.
Thursday, Sept. 17
A Dewey Avenue caller reported a man in a car driving slowly and looking in yards at 9:11 am.
A Pine Tree Road resident reported at 3:16 pm that a woman stole his guns, took them to Portsmouth and refuses to return them.
At 6:53 pm, a Russell Drive caller reported that a woman jumped onto the hood of his car and was threatening neighbors. The woman was transported to St. Anne’s Hospital.
A caller reported that her son’s red and black Mongoose bicycle was stolen from the Pocasset Recreation Area.
Police were called to the Tiverton Casino to assist with issuing a no-trespass order. The man refused to take the no-trespass order but “will be on his way.”
Police were called to the Tiverton Casino at 8:48 pm about a “disturbance with several females.”
Friday, Sept. 18
Police went to Hooper Street at 10:50 am for a barking dog complaint.
The theft of video equipment was reported by a Woodland Circle resident at 11:38 am.
Police responded to Corys Lane at 12:54 pm for a dispute over a vehicle.
The police dispatcher reported that at 5 pm, a man called from a private number and said he was going to kill the President tonight.
A Campion Avenue resident called at 7:56 pm to report that scammers told him they are en-route to his house. An officer responded and stayed in the area for awhile to ease concerns.
Police were called to the Tiverton Casino a 8:39 pm to assist with the ejection off two women.
Saturday, Sept. 19
At 12:29 am, a Fish Road caller dialed 911 to report seeing two baby deer without a mother. An officer could not find the deer.
Police responded to a 911 call from Dadson Mobile Home Park at 1:43 am to assist a man who said his neighbor’s friend had assaulted him with a pole. Rescue transported the man to St. Anne’s Hospital. No word on the alleged assailant.
Police were called to the Tiverton Casino at 7:13 am for an ejection.
Police went to Kitchener Street at 8:34 am for an ongoing neighbor issue involving text messages, phone calls and notes left on business property.
A coyote in the back yards reported was on Canonicus Street at 8:45 am.
Vandalism to a vehicle was reported at Bourne Mill Apartments.
A large gathering was reported at Town Farm at 1:58 am.
A car vs. motorcycle accident as reported at Tiverton Four Corners at 2 pm. There were no injuries.
Police searched Tiverton Casino and all levels of the parking garage at 3 pm for a 911 hang-up call before getting a call back from a woman who said all was fine — it must have happened by accident when the phone was in her purse.
A 3:41 pm caller reported four kids spray painting in front of Stateline Tobacco Store. “No issue,” the officer said. “Washable chalk.”
Police were called to Bulgarmarsh Road at 6:26 pm for a found parrot. Police contacted the owner who had reported earlier that the bird had flown away.
A Crandall Road caller reported a harsh smell, possibly coming from a nearby farm. An officer confirmed that the odor was coming from a farm.
Christopher R. Mureddu, 32, of Newport, was arrested on a 2nd District Court bench warrant at 2:43 pm at a Main Road location.
Nereida Lopes, 26, of 1 Mill St., Tiverton, was arrested on charges of domestic simple assault, second offense, domestic disorderly conduct, and simple assault at 8:30 pm at the Bourne Mill Apartments.
Police were called for a large gathering on Penny Pond Road at 7:53 pm. “Parties are leaving,” an officer reported.
Sunday, Sept. 20
Leslie N. Montanez, 40, of Fall River, was arrested on a charge of driving with a foreign license while license suspended at 2:40 am on Canning Boulevard
Marisa E. Silvia, 20, of 2243 West Main Road, Portsmouth, was arrested on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct at 6:42 pm at a Souza Road, Tiverton, location. Portsmouth Rescue transported the alleged victim, a woman, to St. Anne’s Hospital.
Loud music was reported on Hooper Street at 8:17 pm.
Monday, Sept. 21
Blake R. Hanson, 31, of Bourne, Mass., was arrested on two counts of narcotics possession at 3:15 am at the Tiverton Casino.
