A caller from Stafford Road reported suspicious activity at 5:27 a.m.

A walk-in from Bulgarmarsh Road reported a hit-and-run accident at 9:37 a.m. No injuries were reported.

A caller from Robin Drive reported a larceny at 10:18 a.m.

A walk-in from Main Road reported a larceny at 12:06 p.m.

A caller from Main Road reported vandalism at 1:04 p.m.

A caller from the Cumberland Farms on Main Road reported loitering at 7:13 p.m. Officers dispersed a gathering.

Tuesday, Nov. 15

A walk-in from Furey Avenue reported a larceny at 8:46 a.m.

A caller from Heritage Park on Fairfield Avenue asked police to keep the peace at 12:04 p.m.

Lisa Ferreira Correia, 44, of 1435 Stafford Road, Fall River, was charged with DUI of liquor– BAC unknown (first offense) after police pulled her over at 11:58 p.m. on Stafford Road.

Wednesday, Nov. 16

A walk-in from Lake Road reported trespassing at 7:41 a.m.

A caller traveling south on Stafford Road reported an erratic driver at 3:31 p.m.

A caller from Stafford Road reported a suspicious vehicle at 4:20 p.m.

Eugene I. Johnson, 30, of 160 Benedict St., Apt. 205, Providence, was charged with carrying a pistol or revolver without a license or permit, possession of a firearm when convicted of a crime of violence/fugitive from justice, on a bench warrant issued from Second Division District Court, and driving with a suspended/revoked/canceled license (third or subsequent offense) after police pulled him over on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 5:21 p.m.

A walk-in from Briarwood Avenue reported identity theft at 5:51 p.m.

A 911 caller from Stafford Road reported an erratic driver at 10:34 a.m.

A walk-in from Cornell Road reported fraud at 5:25 p.m.

A caller from Tiverton Casino Hotel on Tiverton Casino Boulevard reported a larceny at 7:03 p.m.

Jessica C. Lalli, 35, of 173 Bay Ridge Drive, Apt. 19B, Middletown, was charged with possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance (10 grams or less), driving with a suspended/revoked/canceled license (first offense) and on a bench warrant issued from Second Division District Court after police pulled her over on Route 24 North at 9:57 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 18

Christopher G. Conlon, 40, of 8 Lane St., Apt. 3, Fall River, was charged on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court after being pulled over on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 12:54 a.m.

Davon S. Diaz, 21, of 120 Ingell St., Apt. 110, Taunton, was charged on an affidavit and arrest warrant out of another department after being pulled over on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 3:12 a.m.

A 911 caller from Silver Beech Road reported a burglary/breaking and entering at 10:33 a.m.

Police investigated a larceny at Tiverton Casino Hotel at 4:36 p.m.

A caller from New Bedford reported a motor vehicle theft at 9:27 p.m.

A caller from East Road reported harassment/threats at 5:54 a.m.

A walk-in from Main Road reported a larceny at 2:20 p.m.

Amanda R. Alves, 34, of 43 Palmer St., Apt. 3, Fall River, was charged with operation of a vehicle under a foreign license during suspension or revocation, after police pulled her over on Shove Street at 9:41 a.m.

Brea M. Goyette, 31, of 91 Chavenson St., Apt. 1E, Somerset, was charged with DUI of liquor– BAC unknown (first offense) after police responded to a 911 call of an erratic driver on Main Road at 9:53 a.m.

Jeffrey Coelho, 67, of 102 Canonicus St., and Victoria Neville, 64, of 103 Canonicus St., were both charged with disorderly conduct after a 911 caller reported a disturbance at a Canonicus Street residence at 2:47 p.m.

A caller from Main Road reported vandalism at 4:02 p.m.

A 911 caller from Main Road reported a disturbance at 6:48 p.m.

A caller from Judson Street reported a disturbance at 7:09 p.m.

Brandon J. Pereira, 27, of 929 Walnut St., Fall River, was charged with DUI of liquor– BAC unknown (first offense) and possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance (10 grams or less) after police pulled him over on Stafford Road at 1:51 a.m.

Kyle Welchman, 54, of 34 Bernard Lane, Little Compton, was charged with simple assault and/or battery after he turned himself into police headquarters on Industrial Way at 8:00 a.m.

A caller from Main Road reported vandalism at 11:46 a.m.

A 911 caller from Main Road reported an accident at 2:12 p.m. At least one person swas transported to the hospital.

A walk-in from Middletown reported a hit-and-run accident at 2:35 p.m.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
