Tiverton mounted a strong second half home comeback Saturday evening to beat Hope 16-14 and improve its record to 2-1.
Down 14-0 at halftime, the Tigers scored 8 points in both the second and third quarters. Both Tiverton scores were on runs by Stephen Gacioch, one from 8 yards out, the next from 10 yards.
The Tigers’ next game is Friday, Sept. 30, at Perez Field in Central Falls.
