Thomas Williamson, 95, of Tiverton, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016. He was the husband of Elizabeth F. (Keating) Williamson. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Ada J. (Proctor) and Thomas Williamson.
Mr. Williamson was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School with the Class of 1939. He had served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a World War II veteran. He served in England with the 385th Bomb Group and was a munitions handler with the 8th Air Force. He had worked as a automotive technician.
An avid outdoorsman, he liked to fish and hunt and was a Life Member of the Tiverton Rod and Gun Club. He was a member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association and the National Rifle Association.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Pierce Williamson (wife Frances). Arrangements are with the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home, 462 Main Road, Tiverton.
