Thomas J. Lamora, 69, passed away on October 16, 2016, at his Warren home, following a six-month illness. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Elizabeth (Thivierge) Lamora, who died in 2013. He leaves a son, Christopher Lamora, and Chris’s partner Eric Anderson, of Arlington, Va.; a daughter, Michelle Waldron, of Derry, N.H.; his grandsons Jack and Patrick Waldron; two brothers, Robert Lamora of Fair Oaks, Cal. and John T. “Ted” Lamora of Temple, Tx.; and his friend Karen Travers, with whom he lived. He was the son of the late John T. Lamora Sr. and Constance M. (Chaves) Lamora.
Mr. Lamora was a United States Air Force veteran who was stationed in Colorado, England and Libya in the 1960s. Following his military service, Mr. Lamora made a career as a fire alarm technician, working for several companies including Standard Electric Time, Simplex and HFP.
In his free time, he loved traveling both within and outside the United States, was an avid genealogist and later in life had undertaken theology studies. Mr. Lamora was a past member of the Bell Street Chapel in Providence and the First Congregational Church/UCC in Bristol.

At Mr. Lamora’s request, memorial services are private.
