Thomas G. Sardinha, 57, of Bristol, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020.

Tom was son of Virginia (Sousa) Sardinha and the late Edward Sardinha. He is survived by his son, Nicholas Sardinha of Bristol, and his daughter, Rachael Sardinha of Taunton, Mass.

He was the brother of Edward Sardinha and his wife Gini of Lebanon, Maine; Mary Manion and her husband Richard of Warren; David Sardinha and his wife Sheila of Bristol; Ann Fernberg and her husband Robert of Plainville, Mass.; Gerald Sardinha of Bristol; and Peter

Sardinha and his wife Angela of Weymouth, Mass.

Tom leaves many nieces and nephews, and many friends who considered him a brother.

Growing up on Holly Lane in Bristol with all his siblings, he attended St Elizabeth’ School and graduated from Bristol High School in 1980. He was known for his strong work ethic, his charity to friends and family, his exceptional cooking skills, his entrepreneurial

streak (TC’s Tropical Snow & Christos Pizza), and his enjoyment with sharing a good joke.

He was a plant operator at Newport Bio Diesel.

He will be sadly missed.

Calling hours for Thomas will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., Bristol, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol.

Burial will be private.
