Thelma L. Wheelock, 98, Westport

Thelma L. (Scholes) Wheelock, 98, of Westport, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at home. She was wife of the late Donald T. Wheelock, Sr.

Born in Tiverton, daughter of the late George W. and Florence L. (Leach) Scholes, she had lived in Westport for over 50 years.  Mrs. Wheelock loved gardening, cooking, playing cards and her pets.  With a life that spanned five generations, she was a loving and kind person and she welcomed everyone.

Survivors include four daughters, Joan A. Galford, Mary Lou Rocha, Lynn Gray and Lori E. Rencurrel; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

 She was mother of the late Barry P. Wheelock and Donald T. Wheelock II.
