The Schwartz School Annual Superhero Walk and 5K Race

Join Meeting Street- The Schwartz School for its 31st annual Superhero Walk and 4th annual 5K Race to help children with special educational and developmental needs. Both race and walk participants start and finish at the same location, in front of the Fort Taber Community Center in New Bedford, MA. Superhero Walk participants will stay within the Fort perimeter, while runners follow the certified 5K course through the local community. Light refreshments will be available to all race participants, and water stations will be set up along the 5k route. Super Hero Costumes are encouraged!

Awards will be presented at 10:30 a.m. to Overall Winner, Top Female, Top Male, Top Teen, Top Fundraiser, Most Creative Costume, and Team with the largest number of walkers.

Advance registration ends September 21st and is highly recommended to ensure all information is correct prior to the start of the race. Race shirts will only be available to runners that register in advance.
