The Rough & Tumble perform at the Music Mansion

The Rough & Tumble perform this Saturday, May 10, at Stone Soup Coffeehouse in Providence. The show begins at 7 p.m.

The Rough & Tumble, a dynamic duo composed of Mallory Graham and Scott Tyler, have been captivating audiences with their unique blend of dumpster-folk and thrift store-Americana for over a decade. The Pennsylvania-born Graham and Central California's Tyler have a knack for weaving together elements of joy, sorrow, comedy, and drama in their music, leaving audiences on the edge of their seats. On Nov. 24, 2024, the band released their new record, Hymns for My Atheist Sister & Her Friends to Sing Along To.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance on our website.

Americana Highways have said that “The Rough & Tumble makes music that’s progressive folk style, rooted in acoustic bluegrass, with lyrics that are provocative on each side as you flip the coin.” Glide Magazine said, "...the duo would be daytime festival slot darlings or dive bar warriors, with its contagious harmonies and gritty musical interplay...... “Ain’t That Way,” a dual harmony feel-good charmer that holds a contagious melody and impeccable musicianship... The Rough & Tumble is like Nickel Creek meets Head and The Heart with its melodic Americana."

Parking at The Music Mansion at 88 Meeting St, Providence, is limited and carpooling, ride-sharing, and mass transit are highly encouraged. There is also available parking on Benefit Street; a short set of stairs will lead you right up to the Music Mansion.
