The Good Trade Makers Market is bringing nearly 100 of the country’s best independent makers and manufacturers together under one roof for a weekend of shopping at the Waterfire Arts Center in Providence, RI. The Good Trade features a unique combination of beloved New England businesses alongside innovators, designers, and makers from all over. Have a drink, try some delicious locally made food, and shop from inspiring makers who have devoted their lives to meticulously honing their crafts.

With entry, attendees will receive a drink ticket that can be redeemed on-site for a single small cocktail from The Industrious Spirits Company, a small beer from Proclamation Ale or Trinity Brewhouse, a small coffee from New Harvest Coffee Roasters, or a Granny Squibb's Organic Iced Tea.

Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door if still available. Grab your ticket in advance as the event can sell out!

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
