The annual Mt. Hope vs. Barrington Thanksgiving Day football game has been rescheduled to Wednesday night, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m. The game will be played at Mt. Hope High School.

According to a text alert from Barrington High School officials, the game was moved to Wednesday night because of "extreme temperatures." The forecast for Thanksgiving morning is for temperatures in the teens.

Officials at Barrington High School have also canceled the annual bonfire, which had been scheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m. Strong winds are expected for Wednesday night.
