Teacher Open House at Coggeshall Farm on Saturday

Times: There will be two informational meetings in the Tyska Barn at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to have all of your questions answered and to learn the details of our programs. Coggeshall Farm Museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Cost: FREE for educators and one guest; Pre-registration required.

Join us for a teacher open house at Coggeshall Farm Museum on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Learn more about the different field trip offerings available at the farm. Visit our heritage breed animals and explore the plants in our historic garden. Stop in and enjoy a tour of the historic farmhouse. Pre-registration is required; see below for details.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
