Stefania Stankiewicz, 89, Little Compton

Stefania (Paszowski) Stankiewicz, 89, of Little Compton, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Grand Islander Center in Middletown.  She was the wife of Joseph Stankiewicz.

Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Micola and Aleksandra (Martynowicz) Paszowski.  She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton.  Mrs. Stankiewicz was an avid gardener.

Including her husband, survivors are a step-son, Joseph Stankiewicz of Little Compton; a step-daughter, Marilyn Hill of Tiverton; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a great great grandson; and several nieces.

Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be Monday, November 18, from the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport, at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church at 10 a.m. Calling hours were Sunday, 5 - 8 p.m.

Interment will be in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Little Compton.

          In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Catherine of Siena Church, 74 Simmons Rd., Little Compton, RI 02837.
