Silvana Germano, 94, of Bristol

Silvana (Perreira) Germano, 94, passed away on June 4, 2020, at Crestwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Joao Carriero Germano.

Born in Relva, St. Michael, and Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Joao and Maria (Soares) Perreira. She was the mother of Joao Germano, Anibal Germano and the late Armando Germano. She is also survived by her grandchildren, David Germano, Armando Germano, Melinda Germano, Liza Olson and Melissa Silvaf, and great-grandchildren, Serena Olson, Kelsey Olson, Brianna Silva, Ryan Silva and Emily Silva. She was the sister of Natalia Soares.

Mrs. Germano was employed by Carol Cable for 16 years before retiring.

Her funeral services were held June 10 from the George Lima Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Marinaldo Batista at St. Elizabeth’s Church. Liturgical readings were by Melissa Silva and Ashley Germano. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were David Germano, Armando Germano, Derek Olson, Michael Silva, Adelino Machado and Fernando Cabral.
