Schmitty the Weather Dog came to Tiverton’s Public Library with author Elly McGuire and her weatherman fiancé, Meteorologist Ron to teach the kids of Tiverton about the science of meteorology Wednesday, July 11. McGuire uses her teacup Yorkie to encourage and describe the respect animals deserve through her interactive sing-a-long show to elementary schools and theaters found in her children’s book Schmitty The Weather Dog: Daydream.
