Ryan Gary Dame, age 23, of Bristol, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019, at his home. Born in Fall River, Mass., and raised and a lifelong resident of Bristol, he was a son of Gary N. and Donna (Correira) Dame.

Ryan was a graduate of Mt. Hope High School, Class of 2014, where he was a member of the golf team. He attended C.C.R.I. and is currently enrolled in the New England Tractor Trailer School.

Ryan loved playing sports growing up in Bristol, playing soccer, baseball, basketball, golf, and snowboarding, with all of his friends. He was an avid sports fan, especially the New England Patriots, the L.A. Lakers and PGA Golf.

Ryan was funny, smart and loving to all his friends and his family. He could always put a smile on everyone’s face. Just an amazing son to Gary and Donna, he enjoyed music, singing and dancing and he loved golfing with his Dad, brothers and friends.

Ryan loved animals, nature and traveling. He always enjoyed taking the family dogs for walks to Mount Hope Farm and the area beaches.

In addition to his parents, he leaves behind two brothers, Matthew and Erik, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many friends, especially those he always considered family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman and Ruth Dame, and James and Evelyn Correira, and great-grandparents, Ashton and Gladys Stone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation in Celebration of Ryan’s life on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in Ryan’s memory.
