With work on the roof of the Rogers Free Library now complete, the scaffolding has come down and the path between the Library’s Thames Street parking lot and Hope Street is accessible to foot traffic again, according to Library Director Dawn Jenkin.
“We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused and are very pleased that the work is done,” she said. “We are very grateful for the swift action of the Town Council, Administrator and Building Inspector in addition to the generosity of the Champlin Foundation in improving the Rogers Free Library for the continued enjoyment of the community.”
