CRANSTON — Due to the coronavirus, please be advised that effective immediately any Rhode Island Lottery prizes can be redeemed by mail.
In order to redeem a RILOT prize by mail, holders of winning tickets must provide the following documents/information: The winning ticket with your signature on back of ticket, Your complete address, Your telephone number, Copy of valid, government-issued photo I.D., and Copy of Social Security Card or valid document that includes your Social Security Number.
If you do not have a copy of your Social Security Card or a document that includes your Social Security Number, you must complete and sign an IRS W-9 Form. This form is available on the Lottery’s website, www.rilot.com, or the Lottery can mail this form to you to complete and return.
Prize checks will be mailed to the address provided. Please be sure to print legibly and to provide a telephone number in the event the Lottery needs to contact you regarding your claim.
