Richard K. Mason, 88, Westport

Richard K. Mason, 88, of Westport, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital.  He was the husband of Ann (Erickson) Mason.

Born in Greenfield, Mass., he was the son of the late Maurice K. and Catherine L. (Barber) Mason.  Prior to retirement, he was a civil engineer for Mobil Oil Corporation in New England for 32 years.  Mr. Mason was a member of the Allen’s Neck Friends Meeting, Dartmouth.

Including his wife, survivors include a son, Eric B. Mason; three daughters, Katherine B. Sherr, Judith A. Brook and Kimberly J. Houle; seven grandchildren; and five great grandsons.

Private arrangements, under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Allen’s Neck Friends Meeting, 739 Horseneck Rd., Dartmouth, MA 02748.
