Richard Angelo Palumbo, 33, of Warren

Richard Angelo Palumbo, 33, of Metacom Avenue, passed away on June 11, 2019, at home.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the Richard A. Palumbo (April Rundle) of Bristol and Kathleen S. Fredette of Fall River, Mass. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Michael Palumbo, and his wife, Erin. He was the nephew of Jane Palumbo, Alan Palumbo, Daniel Fredette, Ronald Fredette, Denise McCloud, Jeanne Burke, Lorraine Fredette and the late Louis “Buddy” Fredette.

Ricky was a talented website designer who loved building and repairing computers. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Thursday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at the North Burial Ground Cremation Garden in Bristol.

Arrangements are by the George C. Lima Funeral Home.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
