Rachel Rose Farrar, age 21, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019. Born in Providence, R.I., a beloved daughter of Donald “Scott” and Rosemary (Fletcher) Farrar, she was raised in Rehoboth, Mass.

She attended Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School and was taking Gen. Ed. classes in hopes of attending nursing school. She loved caring for her brother, Joshie, who has special needs. A gymnast and skilled soccer player, nicknamed the gazelle, she enjoyed running and was dedicated to exercising while cooking healthy foods.

Filled with love and compassion, she always used the gift of Mercy. She loved her yearly travels to California, and hoped to reside there one day. Her mission in life was to bring hope to others.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three brothers, Samuel, Josh, and Isaiah Farrar; as well as aunt Kimberly Farrar Sinnott (Bob), aunt Donna Fletcher; seven uncles, Daniel Farrar (Maryellen), Douglas Farrar (Deepa), Paul Fletcher (Kristin), Christopher Fletcher (MaryBeth), Patrick Fletcher (Tricia), Peter Fletcher (John Maier), Kevin Fletcher; and many cousins.

A Celebration of Rachel’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at 3 p.m. in His Providence Church, 262 Swansea Mall Drive, Swansea, MA 02777. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. Contributions may be made in her honor to Teen Challenge, 572 Elmwood Ave., Providence, RI 02907, or online at www.tchrhodeisland.org.
