On August 26th, 2021, Warren Police Department officers responded to the intersection of Market Street and Sanders Street in Warren after the department received multiple calls for a disturbance between two males possibly involving a knife.

Upon officers arriving in the area, the two adult male’s (Age: 54, Age: 43) involved in the initial disturbance were located on scene along with a third individual who was a juvenile. One of the adult male’s (Age:54) was observed to be on the ground and to have severe injuries to his head after allegedly being struck in the head by an aluminum bat.
