Portsmouth Police deal with DUI, warrant, suspended licenses

PORTSMOUTH — Here are some recent arrests made by the Portsmouth Police Department:

Monday, April 7

Trinity M. Abeyllez, 20, of 196 Green Lane, Apt. 1, Middletown, was charged with driving with an expired license, her fourth offense. Abeyllez was pulled over around 9:30 a.m. at Melville School on West Main Road due to a registration plate violation, police said.

Wednesday, April 9

Felicia Renee Peckham, 33, of 420 Cambridge St., Fall River, was charged with operating under a foreign license that had been suspended or revoked. Her vehicle was stopped on East Main Road at Linden lane around 11:40 p.m. because its rear tail lamps were not illuminated, according to police. 

Thursday, April 10

Byron R. Lopez Gomez, 34, of 3 Buttonwood St., Apt. 1, Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence, first offense. Lopez Gomez was pulled over on Bristol Ferry Road at Miller Road at about 8:45 p.m. after officers observed his vehicle fail to maintain its lane of travel, police said.

Saturday, April 12

Shalik Jordan, 33, of 229 East 8th St., Apt. 204, South Boston, was arrested on a bench warrant that had been issued from 3rd District Court. Jordan was the driver of a vehicle pulled over for minor traffic offenses on West Main Road at midnight, police said. The warrant had been issued because Jordan had failed to appear in court on a previous criminal proceeding, according to police.
