Portsmouth Dog Park increases number of visitors allowed
Change is in line with governor’s edict
PORTSMOUTH — Starting today, June 30, the capacity of visitors allowed at the Portsmouth Dog Park has been increased in accordance with Gov. Gina’s Raimondo’s Phase 3 regulations regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
All visitors are required to practice social distancing or wear a mask.
A total of 25 people at a time — including family members — may be in the “large dog” section of the dog park, while no more than 10 people are allowed in the “small dog” side. Only one owner and their dog(s) can be in the entry gate area at a time.
Owners and dogs should enter at the front gates and exit from the rear gates to preserve social distancing. Hand sanitizer is available as needed.
The park does not have any water bowls or toys available at this time, and visitors are asked not to bring a water bowl or toys. Water will be available in the cooler.
