A second person is alleging that former Barrington Christian Academy coach and teacher Sean Cassidy acted inappropriately with her when she was a student there.
The remarks surfaced two days after Rhode Island State Police arrested Cassidy and charged him with contributing to the delinquency of a child, and procurement of alcoholic beverages for underage persons. The charges stem from an incident involving a student under the age of 16.
Barrington Police said a 19-year-old woman who is a former BCA student stopped into the station on Wednesday, June 3 and made similar allegations against Cassidy. The woman told police Cassidy gave her inappropriate gifts.
