Barrington Police responded to a pair of neighbor disputes on Tuesday, July 26.
At about 11:40 a.m., a Sherbrooke Road resident called police to report a problem with a neighbor. The resident said her neighbor had destroyed her flower bed located near the driveway. She said the bushes had been trimmed back and the lilies were torn up. There was also some discussion about the installation of a fence. Police advised the neighbor to have her property surveyed.
About 20 minutes later, an Upland Way resident told police that her neighbor has been throwing dead animals into her pool. The resident said she has discovered multiple dead animals in her pool over the last five years — birds, mice and chipmunks. The resident told police she has surveillance footage. The resident said she would review the footage and then contact police. She had not called police yet.
