Pasta dinner is tonight at Holy Angels Church in Barrington

Annual event offers pasta, meatballs, soup, antipasto and more

It’s that time of the year again when parishioners and friends of Holy Angels Church file into the fully-accessible church hall for some tasty pasta and meatballs for the annual Fall Pasta Dinner, which will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. As always, a good-sized crowd is expected to be on hand for this popular event.

All are welcome to enjoy a great meal, which will consist of hearty minestrone soup, antipasto, pasta, meatballs, bread and butter, dessert, and coffee.

Tickets are $12 for adults and teens, and $5 for children ages 6-12. Children ages 5 and under will be admitted free of charge. Tickets may be purchased during the week at the parish office from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., or at the church hall doors on the night of the dinner. There is also elevator access in the parish office library.

Dine-in hours are from 4:40 to 7 p.m. Dinners-to-go will be available beginning at 4 p.m.

“If you let us know when you're coming, we'll have them ready,” said Holy Angels Social Events Committee member Shawn DeHart. “A gift basket raffle will also be drawn at the dinner.”

This should be another great evening of sumptuous Italian cuisine, under the kitchen direction of Barbara St. Angelo and her dedicated crew.

Ms. St. Angelo and her staff have worked diligently for a number of years now in making sure this annual event is the success that it is each and every year.
