This 4-week course is open to those who have some experience in drawing the portrait. Each 2 1/2 hour session will begin with a live model. Learn how to set up the structure of the face in paint, while mixing the flesh tones. Students will practice using a simple color palette and discover how to paint the effects of light and shadow on the face. You will discover a myriad of possible color combinations while your powers of observation increase.
